“We couldn’t have loved this property more. It was better than we had expected! A huge space, with very comfortable beds, it was the perfect place to host a birthday weekend for 12 of us. It can sleep many more which we are already considering as a trip with our families! Heated pool, hot tub and sauna were perfect! Just what we all needed. There was plenty of everything and the hosts were so responsive to any minor issues we had (couldn’t find a certain switch etc - nothing to actually do with property itself). Thank you all so much and we will most certainly be back!!”

“The Threshing Barn was a beautiful big space, with plenty of room for us all. We had 12 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room. We had plenty of info before the day, so we could book in activities/food. The games area was lovely and so was the swimming pool, we wish we had more time available to us in the pool. But the advert is clear that it is a shared pool. Most things around you needed to drive to including the local shop, we knew this ahead of time and it was only a short drive away. We had some Thai caterers come in, which was recommended by gill. This was a highlight for us. I would recommend staying here as a big group. It catered to us of all ages.”

The venue is outstanding with so much to do from swims and sauna’s to playing table tennis, pool and pétanque. Set in beautiful countryside with a decent farm shop and pub within walking distance. It was absolutely perfect for us and I highly recommend.”

Lovely walk available from the front door & great local pubs close by. Perfect for what we were looking for.”

“Booked Vedalworks for our annual reunion with school friends and had a fabulous time. We have stayed in many properties over the years and this is definately one of the best. The design of the property was great and lended itself to communal gathering which was important to us. It was very clean, provided plenty of everything for our needs and also some lovely unexpected surprises. Gill and George were great hosts alway on hand when we needed help and discreet when we didn’t. This property did not disappoint and absolutly gave us the Wow factor we hoped for.”

The property itself was absolutely awesome. It was so spacious and was the perfect place for our group. We had such a brilliant time partying, relaxing and generally making the most of the space - we even ended up playing hide and seek, which says a lot about how much room there was! The spa room was a particular highlight. It was absolutely amazing and left us all feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated after a very busy weekend. The beds were really comfortable, everywhere was spotlessly clean, and there were loads of great amenities for us to enjoy. The little extra touches were also so lovely, we were even left fresh scones from the adorable farm shop down the road, which was such a thoughtful surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and honestly couldn't have asked for a better place! Thank you! :)”

“We stayed here with a group of 15 and it was absolutely brilliant. All the amenities listed were top draw. House is really well laid out so great for big social groups. Rooms were all well equipped with comfy beds and multiple en suite rooms. The hosts Gill and George were brilliantly responsive and super helpful. We had a great time and I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone.”

“This has to be one of best places we’ve ever stayed.. particularly in terms of our multigenerational family group of 16 with 5 kids and 5 couples.. the layout with the 3 separate Barns was just perfect, everyone had their own space but were also super close and right beside the games room and the pool. The main barn is so well set up for large groups with 2 dishwashers and 2 fridges which just made life so easy for us! We used one of the recommended caterers, The Kitchen Gardens Somerset, and has a fantastic Italian sharing supper delivered one night, which was superb. The kids had the best time of their lives on and out of the pool and hot tub, the boys loved the pool and table tennis, we were so well catered for! We did a couple of recommended external activities, the Go Karting and Alpacas walking which were both hugely successful.. and we all did the orchard tour/cider tasting at Harry’s next door which was well worth doing. Looking at when we can come again!”
